About

One of the most-studied nootropics — a mixture of low-molecular-weight peptides and amino acids derived from porcine brain. Widely used in Europe and Asia for Alzheimer's, stroke, and traumatic brain injury.

Mechanism

Neurotrophic, neuroprotective, and neurogenerative effects — mimics BDNF and NGF, increases synaptic plasticity.

Reconstitution & Storage

10 mL ampoule (pre-mixed) + none — comes as a solution → 215.2 mg/mL

Cerebrolysin comes as a ready solution in sealed ampoules — no reconstitution.

Room temperature, protected from light. Use immediately after opening.

Benefits

  • • Improved neuroplasticity
  • • Potentially longer neuronal lifespan

Side effects

  • • Mild warm sensation
  • • Rare: injection-site irritation
  • • Rare: allergic reaction
  • • Generally very well tolerated

Contraindications
